Lockerroom (“we”, “us”) runs officiallockerroom.com, the athlete performance testing and student-athlete platform based at 3379 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30326. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: info@officiallockerroom.com or +1 (470) 529-0033.
Information we collect
- Account and profile details you give us when you create an Athlete Passport or update your profile: name, email, phone, date of birth, gender, school, class year, GPA, sport, position, height and weight, team, highlight links, social media links, notes, and profile or gallery photos.
- Documents you choose to upload, such as an unofficial transcript. Transcripts are stored privately and are shown only to you and Lockerroom staff.
- Parent, guardian, coach and counselor contact details you provide so we can verify academic and athletic information and keep families informed.
- Performance testing results recorded by Lockerroom staff at testing events and linked to your profile.
- Messages you send through the contact form or by email, and newsletter sign-ups.
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser and pages visited, collected through server logs and, where enabled, analytics tools.
How we use it
- To run your account, show your verified profile and results, and provide the plan features you choose.
- To verify academic and athletic information with the school contacts you give us.
- To schedule and run performance testing events and deliver your score sheet.
- To respond to enquiries, send service emails, and (if you subscribe) the newsletter.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse (for example rate limiting repeated form submissions) and improve the service.
Who can see your information
Your profile and results are visible to you, your linked parent or guardian account, and Lockerroom staff. Coaches, counselors, college scouts and recruiters see profile information only through the features you or your parent choose to use. We do not sell personal information.
We share data with service providers who help us run the site — hosting, email delivery, and PayPal for donations and payments (PayPal handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive the payer name, email and amount for receipts). We may disclose information if required by law.
Children and student-athletes under 18
Many of our athletes are minors. We ask for a parent or guardian’s details and consent at sign-up, offer parent accounts, and limit who can see an athlete’s information as described above. If you believe a child’s information was provided without consent, contact us and we will remove it.
Your choices
- You can view and update most profile information from your account at any time.
- Email info@officiallockerroom.com to request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and profile.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any newsletter email or by contacting us.
Retention and security
We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for records and legal purposes, then delete or anonymise it. Data is transmitted over HTTPS, uploads are checked before storage, and access to personal data is limited to staff who need it.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and form security, and a preference cookie for the light/dark theme. Analytics cookies are used only where analytics tools are enabled on the site.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
